Credentialed School Nurse * Provides nursing treatments. * Medication delegation, administration & supervision. * Assesses health status and special health care plan for students * Provides staff training & health education. * Provides health consultation to students and staff. * Provides referrals to community resources. * Participates in Student Study Team & Individual Education Plan Teams with other support staff. * Coordinates prevention and control of communicable disease. * Provides State Mandated Screenings: Vision & Hearing, Vision & Hearing Follow Up, Scoliosis. * Provides health screening/referrals/case management for injury, illness. * Provides crisis and health counseling. * Monitors immunizations and CHDP (physical) compliance. * CPR Instruction
